Following last night’s matches, the final six teams that will compete in the Gold Category during the Second Phase of the Championship have been finalized.
From the “Kyrenia” Region, the already known teams ESOBGA, PN99, and the Warriors will be joined by Think Colour, P&P, and the Famagusta Ballers. The latter secured the third “golden” ticket from their region after defeating the Old Bulldogs last night.
In the “Morfou” Region, things became somewhat more complex yesterday evening. After Think Colour defeated the UNIC Senior Eagles (67-46) and the Famagusta Ballers beat the Old Bulldogs (75-58), a three-way tie occurred between UNIC, EAK, and the Ballers.
The team from Famagusta ultimately emerged victorious, as they held a superior point coefficient in the games played between the three tied teams. Consequently, they secured their place among the elite of the Nicosia Winter Championship for the second consecutive year.
Based on the final rankings, the teams will begin their campaign in the Gold Category with the following starting points:
| # | TEAM | POINTS |
| 1 | ESOBGA | 3 |
| 2 | Think Colour | 3 |
| 3 | PN99 | 2 |
| 4 | P&P | 2 |
| 5 | EUC Warriors | 1 |
| 6 | Famagusta Ballers | 1 |
We remind you that the draw for the Second Phase match schedule will take place this coming Saturday at 17:30, just before the start of the All-Star Game.
