The basketball player of Aris Limassol, Elena Antoniou, was unlucky last night, as she injured her leg during her team’s match against the Black Panthers in Nicosia, as part of the 2nd matchday.
Elena, who, besides being a player for the Limassol team, is also the General Manager of the Aris Academy, and the person who created the women’s amateur team, suffered a serious knee injury in an unfortunate moment, resulting in the game being interrupted and her being transported to the hospital.
Today she will undergo an MRI examination to determine the extent of the damage, which we hope will be as minimal as possible.
