A strong start to the new Championship from Apollon Heat

Apollon Heat’s presence in the new Limassol Championship has been particularly positive so far, as they already boast a 2-0 record, having also shown a very strong performance in their matches against Arthouros and ENAATH.

Last year’s runner-ups, who had already shown a great image in the tournament reaching the Grand Final which they lost in the details, show this year that they have all the potential to contend for the title until the end.

Mykola Nesushchyi’s team maintained their entire core from last year and were additionally strengthened with certain quality units, mainly from the Omega team, which no longer participates in the Championship.

In the upcoming matchday, the Heat will play away against the Red Panda Moufflons, and will complete their obligations for 2025 with a derby against the also strengthened Trachoni. If they secure victory in both of these matches, they will obviously celebrate Christmas at the top, and will also pose a serious early candidacy for first place at the end of the Regular Season.

Beyond the Championship institution, Apollon Heat, like the other teams in Limassol, will also take part in the Cup, where they will be called to face this year’s very strong Think Colour at home, aiming to advance to the round of 16.

The prospects for this specific team to have a successful year currently look particularly promising, but it remains to be proven in practice with the corresponding consistency.
