A delegation from the Board of Directors of the Winter Championship met yesterday afternoon with the new Director of the Cyprus Basketball Federation, Mr. Marinos Mitrou, at the Federation’s offices.
The meeting took place following the appointment of the new Director, with the aim of providing fuller information regarding the activities and work of the Winter Championship, and in particular the organization of the 12th Panhellenic Championship, which will take place in a few days in Paralimni.
Views were also exchanged on ways to further strengthen cooperation between the Federation and the Winter Championship, given that both organizations share the common goal of developing basketball further in the country.
Representing the Board of Directors of the Winter Championship were President Dimitris Varzakakos, Vice President Louis Michaelides, and Communications Officer Victoras Kountouris.
