Think Colour is on Top, they also passed the obstacle of EAK

Think Colour appears unstoppable in its run in this year’s Winter Championship, as they already count 4 out of 4 wins and are enjoying the solitude of the top spot in the “Morfou” Region, albeit temporarily, since P&P is playing on Friday.

Yesterday, Andrea Christou’s team had to overcome the most difficult obstacle from the games they have played so far in this year’s Championship, as they faced the in-form Cyprus Sports Journalists Association (EAK) away from home.

The “yellow and blacks,” despite their initially sluggish start, later regained control of the game and ultimately secured a very important away win, prevailing 57-67, showing that they are rightly considered one of this year’s big favorites.

The crucial game for Think Colour will be next matchday’s top-of-the-table derby against the also undefeated P&P, whom they will face away next week, in a game that may well determine the first place in the Region.

If Panagiotis Nikolaidis’ team secures the away win in next week’s derby, then besides the victory, they will have “locked” their qualification to the Gold Category, barring a major upset.

Of course, in any case, nothing should be taken for granted, as there are still 5 more matchdays remaining, which include two other tough derbies (against UNIC and Famagusta). What is certain, however, is that this year’s Think Colour team seems more determined than ever to claim and win one or more of the Winter Championship titles.
