The Men’s Winter Cup competition for the 2025-2026 season, which was organized for the first time last year, is coming to fruition again this year with the participation of 26 teams. The first step for this year’s competition will take place next Wednesday, November 12th at 18:00 with the draw for the 1st Round of the Cup, which will be broadcast live on our Facebook page.
All teams from the Nicosia League (20) and Limassol League (6), without any prior categorization, will be included in the draw. The matches will be single-leg and in a knock-out format.
During next week’s draw, 6 teams will first be drawn who will secure direct qualification for the Round of 16 without a match. Subsequently, the 10 pairings that will form the 1st Round of this year’s Cup will be drawn.
The venues hosting the 10 matches of the 1st Round will be those of the teams drawn as hosts, regardless of their city of origin. Therefore, if the home team is based in Nicosia, the match will take place in Nicosia, while if it is based in Limassol, the match will take place in Limassol.
All games of the 1st round of the Cup will take place during the first week after Christmas holidays, which is between 5-9 January 2026. The games of the Stage of 16 will take place during 16-20 February 2026.
