AMAZING ATMOSPHERE – Married his beloved, also “baptized” the UNIc

Those who watched the derby of the Morfou region between EAΚ and UNIc Senior Eagles witnessed one of the most beautiful scenes of the Winter Championship matchday.

The colossal center of Vori Karagiannis’s team, Igors Igorchiks, tied the knot in holy matrimony last weekend with the chosen one of his heart.

However, the 72 hours of married life not only did not deter him from being normally with the team for the game against the Eagles—while also achieving a great double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds—but he continued the wedding celebrations at the A’ Primary School of Ayios Dhometios.

To be more specific, friends and relatives of the couple traveled last week from Latvia to attend the wedding. The wedding charter flight, however, did not depart for Riga but for Ayios Dhometios. Around 30 Latvians were in the stands of the A’ Primary School, supporting not only Igors and EAΚ but also creating an exceptionally warm atmosphere.

Furthermore, at the end of the match, the organized fans of EAΚ from the Riga association loudly cheered the winning basketball players with the customary “OLE.”
