Easy win for Think Colour in Limassol and qualification to the round of 16 (video)

Think Colour faced no significant difficulty in securing their ticket to the Cup’s Round of 16. In last night’s game in Limassol against Apollon Heat, they remained consistent, winning 53-70 and extending their undefeated streak for the current season.

Andreas Christou’s team confirmed their status as favorites and achieved their goal, despite the Limassol team’s efforts to challenge for the qualification. With the exception of the 1st period, where the two teams appeared evenly matched, the visitors showcased their season’s strengths throughout the rest of the game, earning their first win in the Cup tournament.

Although playing in Limassol, Think Colour showed up at the Agios Ioannis High School with a full twelve-man roster. Notably, almost all of their players scored (11 out of 12). Similarly, for the Heat, 9 out of the available players scored for Mykola Nesushchyi’s side.

The quarter scores were 12-14, 23-37, 37-56, and 53-70. Panagiotis Spanos was the top scorer for the winners, adding 14 points, followed by Makris and Nicolaides with 11 and 10 points respectively. For the Limassol side, Aleksandr Kazachanskii led with 16 points, and Pavel Bulankin added 9.

In the next phase, Think Colour will host the winner of the upcoming match between Makedones-Dimco and Old Timers.
