This year’s All-Star Game to support the charitable NGO “Varka Agapis” (Boat of Love)

Following similar initiatives taken by the Winter League in previous years, the Board of Directors of our Association has decided that this year’s All-Star Game, which will be held on Saturday, December 20, at the English School Indoor Arena, will also have a charitable purpose.

Specifically, it was decided that all attendees of this year’s All-Star Game are optionally invited to contribute for the support of the charitable organization “Varka Agapis” (Boat of Love). The entire amount collected will be donated to this specific charitable organization, which supports our fellow citizens who are facing various difficulties in their lives.

We are certain that, once again this year, amateur basketball will demonstrate the necessary sense of philanthropy and willingness to offer support to those in need.

We call upon the players, coaches, and friends of all our teams from all Winter League competitions to come to the court both to watch this year’s basketball celebration and to support “Varka Agapis” and its excellent work.

During the game, representatives from the organization will be collecting contributions from interested friends, and we are confident that they will receive an excellent response.
