This year’s All-Star Game of the Winter Championship will have a festive feel, as it will be held just before Christmas, specifically on Saturday, December 20, at 6:00 PM at the English School’s indoor gymnasium, and will feature various innovations.
This year’s All-Star Game will be different from the previous ones, although it will include elements from last year. Specifically, a total of 6 teams will participate, 4 men’s and 2 women’s, who will compete as follows:
| Period/Quarter | Competing Team A vs Competing Team B |
| 1st Quarter | MEN’S SEMI-FINAL A’ (Men’s Team 1 vs Men’s Team 2) |
| 2nd Quarter | MEN’S SEMI-FINAL B’ (Men’s Team 3 vs Men’s Team 4) |
| 3rd Quarter | WOMEN’S FINAL (Women’s Team 1 vs Women’s Team 2) |
| 4th Quarter | MEN’S FINAL (Winner of Semi-final A’ vs Winner of Semi-final B’) |
The four men’s teams will compete against each other in the first two quarters of the All-Star Game, and the winners will qualify for the Final, which will take place in the fourth quarter. In the intervening third quarter, the two women’s teams will compete to determine the winning women’s team of the All-Star Game.
Each team will have 6 players on its roster, who will be selected by the respective team’s coach. The selection of the team coaches will be made following a vote among all the Championship’s coaches, which will be held soon.
Specifically, the 20 coaches of the Nicosia Championship teams will select the 4 coaches for the men’s All-Star Game teams, and the 7 coaches of the Women’s Championship will select the 2 coaches for the women’s teams.
Before the start of the competitive part of the All-Star Game, the established Three-Point Contest will also take place, featuring the best shooters (men and women) of the Championship. More details will be announced soon.
