An informational meeting was held this afternoon between the Board of Directors of the “Winter” Championship and representatives of the Nicosia League teams, ahead of the new season’s start. Members of the Board and various representatives from the capital’s teams participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the President of the “Winter” Championship’s Board of Directors, Dimitris Varzakakos, explained the format of this year’s competition, outlining all the stages in which the teams will participate and highlighting key dates.
He also reminded the teams of the deadline to submit their rosters by September 14, as well as the opportunity to make 1-2 additional player additions until October 4.
Following this, the format of this year’s Men’s Cup tournament was explained, and more information was provided regarding the All-Star Game and the 12th Panhellenic Veterans’ Championship, which will be held in Cyprus. Subsequently, the team representatives raised various questions and comments about the new season, and the necessary clarifications were provided.
