Μετά τα Πρωταθλήματα Λευκωσίας και Γυναικών, σειρά παίρνει για το πρώτο του τζάμπολ της φετινής σεζόν και το Χειμερινό Πρωτάθλημα Λεμεσού, το οποίο θα διεξαχθεί φέτος για 2η συνεχόμενη χρονιά με αυξημένο μάλιστα αριθμό ομάδων, παικτών και αγώνων. Στη φετινή διοργάνωση θα λάβουν μέρος συνολικά 7 ομάδες, καθώς στις 6 περσινές (Limassol Pistols, Omega, Apollon Heat, Moufflons, Arthouros και Katholiki) προστέθηκε φέτος και η ομάδα Τραχώνι BC ανεβάζοντας ακόμη περισσότερο το ενδιαφέρον και τον ανταγωνισμό.
Με βάση τα ρόστερ που υπέβαλαν ήδη οι 7 ομάδες, στο φετινό Πρωτάθλημα Λεμεσού θα λάβουν μέρος σχεδόν 100 καλαθοσφαιριστές. Όπως και κατά την περσινή σεζόν, το Πρωτάθλημα θα διεξαχθεί με τις 7 ομάδες να αγωνίζονται όλες μεταξύ τους σε 2 Γύρους στην Κανονική Περίοδο και στη συνέχεια να κονταροχτυπιούνται σε αγώνες νοκ-άουτ στα πλέι-οφ. Κάθε αγωνιστική θα περιλαμβάνει τρεις αναμετρήσεις, ενώ μία ομάδα θα έχει ρεπό.
Όλο το πρόγραμμα των αγωνιστικών μέχρι τις διακοπές των Χριστουγέννων έχει ήδη δημοσιευθεί και βρίσκεται αναρτημένο στο ειδικό μέρος της ιστοσελίδας μας (Limassol League 2024-2025), όπου θα αναρτώνται και τα αποτελέσματα και η Βαθμολογία. Ευχόμαστε σε όλες τις ομάδες μας της Λεμεσού καλή επιτυχία, να απολαύσουν τη συμμετοχή τους και να παραμείνουν όλοι μακριά από τραυματισμούς!
The 2nd Limassol Winter League begins next Monday!
After the Nicosia and Women’s Championships, it’s now time for the first jump-ball of the season for the Limassol Winter League. This year, the tournament will be held for the second consecutive year with an increased number of teams, players, and games. A total of seven teams will compete this season, as last year’s six teams (Limassol Pistols, Omega, Apollon Heat, Moufflons, Arthouros, and Katholiki) are joined by a new addition, Trachoni BC, raising the excitement and competitiveness even further.
Based on the rosters already submitted by the seven teams, nearly 100 basketball players will participate in this year’s Limassol Championship. As in the previous season, the tournament will feature a Regular Season where all seven teams play each other twice, followed by knockout playoff games. Each matchday will include three games, while one team will have a bye.
The complete schedule for the games leading up to the Christmas break has already been published and can be found in the dedicated section of our website (Limassol League 2024-2025), where results and standings will also be posted.
